If it doesn't seem funny and I sound really off key - pour a few more drinks!

I loved this show but the song from it got cut so I wouldn't SING you to death in my show! It's about this guy and girl and they're both composers and they used to be lovers...and they work on a project and become lovers again. I saw it starring Lucie Arnez (Lucille Ball's daughter) and I wrote her a letter and told her she was WAY better than her mom!
Fame is the reason gLee exists! It was a movie and then a TV show and it took place at the High School of the Performing Arts! The movie was musical...and deep...and the show had singing on it every week - they'd just bust out in a song in the middle of the cafeteria or the middle of the street (see pic.) "You want fame, well fame costs...and right here's where you start paying for it...in SWEAT!"
Ohhh, I LOVED Miss Saigon. It's about this U.S. soldier, Chris, who's goes to Vietnam to fight and ends up meeting this Vietnamese woman, Kim. They fall in love and get "married" ...but then some big attack happens and they're separated. Chris ends up back in the U.S. Kim ends up in Vietnam...and pregnant. He is sad and lonely back home but he meets Trina, who helps him get his life back together. Meanwhile Kim is waiting in Vietnam for Chris to come and get her and their son. She has NO IDEA he's moved on. One day, Chris' friend, John convinces Chris to goes to 'Nam to see Kim because she has something to tell him. He goes with Trina. She doesn't know about his "marriage" to Kim but she finds out before he tells her. She's devastated. Kim is devastated. Chris finds out about the son and he's devastated. Kim knows that she and Chris can't be together and she wants a good life for their child so she...BIG SPOILER ALERT...kills herself so their son can go live with Chris and Trina in the U.S. Big sigh.... It is sooooo sad, yet beautiful and wonderful.
Rent is a rock opera based on the "it's not over until the fat lady sings" opera, La Boheme. It's all about these starving artists & musicians living in the east village struggling to make moolah and be creative in NYC during the era of HIV/AIDS. It sounds depressing and it sorta is, but it's also a really awesome love story.

Spring Awakening is a rock musical adaptation of the 1891 German play with the same name. Set in the nineteenth century Germany, it's all about teenagers who are discovering their sexuality The original play was banned because it's pretty saucy with all of the sex and other things that I'll refrain from talking about in case any children are reading this blog. LOVED IT!
